I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University. I previously studied at Seoul National University, where I received my B.A. in 2012 and M.A. in Political Science in 2015.
My dissertation project focuses on the politics in traditional chieftaincy and their impacts on local communities, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. My other works investigate the substantive representation of Ugandan local politicians, and the effects of natural disasters on public trust towards different government apparatus.
